I use a sublingual vitamin B12/folate made for a bariatric patients called Celebrate B-12 sublingual. I have a very sensitive stomach - but this is absorbed under the tongue and doesn't cause any problems with nausea for me. One tablet contains 200 mcg folic acid (folate) and 1000 mcg B12. They also taste a lot better than most sublingual vitamins. HTH

I thought we needed AT LEAST 1mg (1000mcg) of folic acid /day while taking MTX. MTX blocks the folate and this contributes to nausea GI issues. I take a sublingual B12 1000 mcg as well.

Are you taking mtx with the folic acid?
Because it could be another drug that is making you feel bad. You should always discuss side effects with your doctor
