My shoulders, ankles, lower back, knees, etc all hurt and I still have stuff to do that was previously planned and I'm trying to keep moving but also do not want to touch any of my joints they are very tender and painful with the slightest touch. My body feels numb from so much pain as long as I don't touch anything to make it worse.
I do experience the same pain, achy, and tingly feeling in my legs, 1, more so than the other. I even often have sensations like cold water is being splattered on my thigh and down my leg...only it's not. I mentioned the leg and back stiffness (which feels like walking in too tight jeans) to my Rheumy and he suggested I check in with my neurologist. In her assessment she deemed me as NOT having neurological issues with my legs, strength was good, reflex good, and no loss of feeling when she pricked me with a pin lol. She believes it's RA related pain from hips. She does, however, want to do an EMG of my arm and cervical nerve due to tingling and numbness in my right hand. I had similar sensations 2 years ago in my left hand which resulted in Ulnar Transposition Surgery due to an entrapped nerve. We NOW know it was due to inflammation caused by RA, as was my Carpal Tunnel, and Rotator Cuff surgeries. I currently am not taking any RA meds, Xeljanz was my latest and stopped that in May, it didn't work. I've been approved to start Orencia but due to OTHER health issues can't start until they're resolve. Fun times...
I too had ulner nerve entrapment.. So not fun..I had decompression done though.. RA is horrible never knew it could cause so many problems
I hope that gets resolved and you get on something that actually works for you. Bless you
Yes sometimes around my hip and down in my leg and in the top of my foot I have numbness and tingling. I take gabapentin for what they believe that numbness is nerve pain
