I have filed for SSDI, got denied. Have filed an appeal & got denied again. The next process is to file for a hearing. What are some of your experience with this this next step of the filing process? How long did it take before one actually got approved?

I filed twice and was denied twice after jumping through all their hoops- I got an SSI attorney and it took 9 months, but after we went to court I was finally approved with no problems. This will all depend on all your medical records and where your team of Dr's have established you to be .It will be all their notes and recommendations that will be the deciding factor. So make sure your health is in the hands of Dr;s that support your decision. It is a long and stressful process. Good Luck & God Bless

I was denied several times. Best advice is hire an attorney. They will get you what you deserve.

I filed and appealed twice. Once I got to the hearing I was approved right away. I have a friend who works for them and she told me this is the normal process. Just make sure you have at least one doctor stating you are unable to work. More if you can get it. And get an attorney. They don't get paid unless you win but your chances of approval more than double if you have one. Good Luck. Yu can do this!!!

How awful that you have been denied so many times! And with all those health problems you should have been approved immediately. My son also has major psych issues and is on several meds. Praying for you!! Hugs!! @A myRAteam Member
