Since I have been on Prednisone I have noticed sweating for no reason, and being hot even inside with the air on. Now I am also on Humira. I forgot to ask my Rheumy Monday when I went to she her. Can these meds cause this? Thank you!
I have suddenly started having hot flashes, sweats, then freezing cold. Then the whole process starts over it is bad enough I take my temp but there is no fever. I am not on any RA meds as yet. And I have not been on any hormone therapy. Have already gone completely through menopause and don't have flashes from that anymore. I go and see the Rheumy on Sept 21. Does anyone else have this issue. Thanks in advance for your answers.
I am mostly freezing cold, but then all of a sudden, out of nowhere I’m hit with feeling of being so hot internally for a few minutes, then back to cold. But of course I also have the night sweats. And continual pain. I have RA, fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. Can’t fiugure out what’s causing it.
Does anyone else get beet red cheeks and neck and chest when they have RA flares or are injected with steroids- this happens to me on and off a lot
I'm not sure if it's the meds (prednisone and Actemra) or just another one of the things that RA adds to my life. I have lived in south Florida my whole life, so I am definitely used to the heat, but it's getting worse and worse. Yesterday I tried to take a little nature hike, and by 9:00 am I was so hot I had to go home. I am photosensitive so I already have to cover up with hat, spf clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses at all times. Now it doesn't seem like I am going to be able to go outside all… read more
Wondering if anyone experiences profuse sweating from everywhere like I would assume hot flashes would be like. 2nd question muscle spasms, when I turn a certain way using back or trunk muscles I get these painful spasms like a charlie horse in my back or in my side. It happens everytime I move this way and it keeps me from doing whatever it was I was trying to do.
What symptoms do people experience.. After getting on this site, I am starting to realise that a lot of the things I experience are RA and not menopause. The hot sweats I experience, which my doc says is menopause, is not menopause. Same with the fatigue and lack of energy. Perth WA is very hot in summer and its unbearable. I don't think sitting under the air conditioner does me much good either but it makes it bearable.
What other symptoms do others have
Hi. I am on the following meds
The hot flushes are unbearable especially after taking the rheumalef and the insomnia. Please I would love some advice. Thank you
