Test Coming Out Negative

Test Coming Out Negative

I've had three different ra doctors diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis a recent test results came up negative when I still have symptoms and joint deformity. Does anyone have any ideas why this might happen or has this happened to anyone else?

I don't show up on the regular tests either. My doctor ran the Anti-CCP test and that is where it showed. Good luck!

I have rheumatoid damage in my hands and osteoarthritis in other parts of my body. My blood work comes back negative for RA. My doc said it doesn't always show up in a blood test. But the joint damage doesn't lie

I also have sero negative RA but my rheumatologist still diagnosed me moderate severe arthritis based on my MRI of my ankle and radiographs of my hands. Happy to answer any questions you might have. Hang in there.

Look up "serio negative RA". That's us. We have RA, but it doesnt always show up reliably on blood tests. Good luck!
